Apply for the 2023 University of Birmingham Global Masters Scholarships Program. The scholarship, worth up to £2,000 is dedicated to international students who wish to study for a Master’s Degree programme at the University of Birmingham. The scholarship is awarded for study at the University of Birmingham, for the Academic year 2024/25.

The scholarship will go towards the cost of tuition fees for your selected degree programme

The scholarship is strictly dedicated to students form selected countries planning, applied and received admission for one of the master’s degree programmes offered at the University of Birmingham in the United kingdom

Benefits

• For the coming academic year, the university is offering up to 40 scholarships to selected eligible applicates
• Each scholarship is worth up to £2,000 GBP for one academic year of your Master’s study.
• This Scholarship will go towards your tuition fees for your selected degree programme

Eligibility

• Applicants must be residents/ nationals of selected eligible countries (Please see full list here)
• You must have applied and received a study offer for one of the taught Masters degree at the University of Birmingham UK.
• As an applicant for this scholarship, you must fall under the overseas fee paying students category
• You must be applying and ready to start your studies at the University in September/ October 2024
• Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence from their previous studies
• You must have graduated with a Bachelor’s degree with a first class overall grade (at least 70% in the UK system) in a bachelors degree or equivalent.
• Applicants from US, India, Nigeria and China must prove their academic excellence with the following grades
  • US GPA system: 3.5 out of 4.0 and above
  • Indian grading system: 70% on a scale of 100%
  • Nigerian grading system: GPA of 3.5 on a scale of 4.0, 4.5 on a scale of 5.0 or 6.2 on a scale of 7.0
  • Chinese grading system: 85% grade awarded by a top tier Chinese University, 90% grade awarded by a mid-tier Chinese University

Please remember that to be considered for the scholarship, you must apply and and secure admission into your preferred degree programme at the University of Birmingham

Upon acceptance, you will then apply for the scholarship completing our online scholarship application form which can be accessed via the online portal

The accurately and fully completed application form must be submitted before the deadline of May 31, 2024, since applications will not be considered and cannot be amended once submitted
