SIIT Undergraduate Scholarship Program for Excellent Foreign Students (EFS-U)

Apply for the SIIT Undergraduate Scholarship Program 2020 in Thailand. Sirindhorn Technology Scholarship Fund offers opportunities for Excellent Foreign Students (EFS -U) to study in bachelor programs at Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), Thammasat University, Thailand.

Scholarships are available in the following fields

  • Biochemical Engineering: Biochemistry
  • Environmental Engineering:Science: Technology Management
  • Chemical Engineering: Chemistry
  • Industrial Engineering and Logistics Systems
  • Civil Engineering
  • Digital Engineering
  • Computer Engineering.- Science
  • Logistics and Supply Chain Systems Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Management Technology
  • Energy Technology Management
  • Materials Engineering:Science: Technology
  • Engineering Management
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Information and Communication Technology for Embedded Systems

Benefits

  • There is a total number of 24 scholarships (4 year continuous) 100% or 50% of tuition and educational support fees for prospective students who enroll in the academic semester 2019 (1st and 2nd semester)
    Scholarship Coverage: 
  • Full or half tuition and educational support fees 
  • Health and accident insurance during the period of scholarship in Thailand

Eligibility

Candidate Qualifications: 

  • Non-Thai nationality (from Asian countries)
  • Earn a high school diploma that complies with the curriculum of the Ministry of Education (Thailand) or its equivalent from other countries (grade 12 or equivalent) 
  • Have good behavior and a clean record with no offences against student discipline. • Have not been granted other SIIT Continuing Scholarships.

Application

The required documents for application:

  1. National test scores from Cambodia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Bhutan or China
  2. Standardized test scores: SAT I, SAT II, IB, IGCSE, GCE “0” and “A” Level, ACT etc. (The minimum scores are detailed at www.siit.tu.ac.th) ***
  3. Please attach the above scores and CV with your online application***
  4. Apply online at http://admissions.siit.tu.ac.th/siit/
  5. Select admission type: “Excellent Foreign Students (EFS-U)” 

Conditions to Continue the Scholarship:

  •  Maintain a cumulative GPA of not less than 2.75 with no “F”, “U”, or “W” grades
  • Good conduct without a record of student disciplinary offences
  • Assist in the Institute’s work for 24 hours (full Scholarship) or 16 hours (half scholarship) per semester
