Saxion University of Applied Science Scholarships 2024

Saxion university is proud to offer several scholarships to international students to help them fund their studies in Netherlands. These Saxion Scholarships are dedicated to talented international students who wish to apply for a bachelor’s or master’s programme at Saxion. Scholarship programmes available for the academic year 2024-2025 are as follows

  • Holland Scholarships (HS): This scholarship is dedicated to excellent and very talented international students from countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA) applying for a Bachelor or Master degree in the Netherlands. All Bachelor programmes as well as Master in Applied Nanotechnology and Master in Innovative Textile Development are eligible.
  • Saxion Talent Scholarship (STS): This scholarship is offered for talented students who wish to apply for a Bachelor programme. All Bachelors programmes are eligible for this scholarship
  • Orange Tulip Scholarship (OTS): This scholarship programme is dedicated for Bachelor candidates from Brazil, China, Indonesia, Korea, Mexico, Russia, Vietnam, South Africa, India, and is offered as a partial waiver.
  • Saxion Excellent Scholarship (SES): The scholarship for current Saxion students who demonstrate excellent performance and have passed the first year of their bachelor programme. The scholarship will be awarded to continue studying in the next study year (2nd, 3rd or 4th year) at Saxion UAS.

Benefits

Selected applicants will recieve a scholarship amout as described below

  • Holland Scholarships (HS) recipients will receive an amount worth EUR 5,000.
  • Saxion Talent Scholarship (STS) recipients will receive an amount worth EUR 2,500.
  • Orange Tulip Scholarship (OTS) recipients will receive an amount worth EUR 5,000.
  • The Saxion Excellent Scholarship (SES) recipients will receive an amount worth EUR 2,500.

Eligibility


Your nationality is non-EU/EEA and you pay full institutional tuition fee;

Holland Scholarships (HS):

  • You must be a national of a non-EU/EEA country and eligible to pay full institutional tuition fee
  • Applicants must be applying for the first time for a full-time Bachelor programme or Master in Applied Nanotechnology or Master Innovative Textile Development.
  • You must meet the specific admission requirements for the study programme of your choosing
  • Applicants must not be in recipient of any other scholarship for the same study year and study programme.
  • You must have achieved a of GPA 80% or higher in your previous education
  • Applicants must meet IELTS 7.0 or higher or the equivalent of IELTS

Saxion Talent Scholarship (STS):

  • You must be a national of a non-EU/EEA country and eligible to pay full institutional tuition fee
  • Applicants must be applying for the first time for a full-time Bachelor programme.
  • You must meet the specific admission requirements for the study programme of your choice.
  • Applicants must not be in recipient of any other scholarship for the same study year and study programme.
  • You must have achieved a of GPA 70% or higher in your previous education
  • Applicants must meet IELTS 6.0 or higher or the equivalent of IELTS

Orange Tulip Scholarship (OTS):

  • You must be a national one of the following countries : Brazil, China, Indonesia, Korea, Mexico, Russia, Vietnam, South Africa, India
  • Applicants must be applying for the first time for a full-time Bachelor programme.
  • You must meet the specific admission requirements for the study programme of your choice.
  • Applicants must not be in recipient of any other scholarship for the same study year and study programme.
  • You must have achieved a of GPA 80% or higher in your previous education
  • Applicants must meet IELTS 7.0 or higher or the equivalent of IELTS

Saxion Excellent Scholarship (SES)

  • You must be a national of a non-EU/EEA country and eligible to pay full institutional tuition fee
  • Applicants must engaged in a full-time Bachelor programme at Saxion.
  • You must be planning to continue your study programme at Saxion (2nd, 3rd, 4th year).
  • Applicants must have achieved an average grade of 7.0 or higher according to your transcript of records in Bison.

Application

  • Applicants for the Saxion Talent Scholarship (STS) and Holland Scholarship (HS) will submit their applications via the Saxion Application Portal at the time of submission of you application for your programme.
  • If you are applying for the Orange Tulip Scholarship (OTS), you must apply from the dedicated website for your country
  • Applicants for the Holland Scholarships (HS) must use the dedicated link for this program. This scholarship is financed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science as well as several Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences.
