Jacobs University Scholarships for Foreign Students

Apply for the Jacobs University Scholarships for Foreign Students and study in Germany. The Jacobs University offers several scholarships to international students who are applying for one of the eligible Master’s degree programmes. Although scholarships are dedicated to international non-EU students, there are several scholarships dedicated to students from EU countries

All applicants for the MSc in Data Science for Society & Business, the MSc in Data Engineering and the MSc in Supply Chain Management will be automatically considered for Jacobs University Graduate Scholarships.

These scholarships at Jacobs University are awarded solely based on merit. During the selection process, awarding the scholarships will be based on the applicant’s personal achievements without regard to his/her material wealth or resources. Therefore students with excellent performance from their previous education will have a higher chance of being selected.

Benefits

• All applicants for one of the eligible programmes will be automatically considered for the scholarships
• The scholarships are worth € 8,000 per year for international students
• Selected EU students are will receive a scholarship a minimum of €4,000

Eligibility

• You must be applying for a Master’s Degree programme at Jacobs University
• Applicants must have completed a Bachelor’s degree eligible for admission into one of the eligible Master’s degree programmes
• You must be applying for any of the following programmes: MSc in Data Science for Society & Business, the MSc in Data Engineering, the MSc in Supply Chain Management, and the MSc in Psychologie
• Applicants must be able to complete their applications by June 1 (for non EU citizens) and July 15 (for applicants who do not need a visa)

Application

Applications for Master’s degree programs at Jacobs University are submitted online via the online portal. However, Jacobs University offers rolling admission for the MSc in Data Science for Society & Business, the MSc Data Engineering and the MSc Supply Chain Management. to be considered for the scholarship, you are advised to complete your application by June 1, 2023

• Letter of motivation
• Your most recent Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Request 2 letters of recommendation
• Your Bachelor’s degree transcripts in either English or German
• The candidate’s proof of English language proficiency
