2023 International Istanbul 8th Fellowship Program in Turkey

Applications are now open for the 8th International Istanbul Fellowship Program which will be held from March 15, 2023 to March 17, 2023 in Istanbul, Turkey. Interested applicants can submit their applications for the International Istanbul Fellowship Program until the deadline of December 16, 2023.

Summary

The International Istanbul Fellowship Program is organized on an annual basis by the Turkish Press and Publishers Copyright & Licensing Society and is made possible with sponsorship and support from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

This program brings together publishers and stakeholders from around the world in Istanbul for copyright and translation negotiations with the main aim of improving and exchanging ideas and learning from different Publisher managers, editors, copyright agencies, professional publishing associations and publisher non-governmental organizations

The program will be held from March 15 – 17 2023 in hybrid mode (a mixture of live and online events) at the Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar Convention & Exhibition Centre. Up to 555 participants will be selected.. Towards the and of this year’s program, the Istanbul Fellowship Awards will be given out in honour of the influential individuals and institutions in the publishing world.

If you are Ssuccessfully slelcted for the Istanbul Fellowship Program , you will be provided with one of the three different support packages described below

The Golden Support Package:

• A plane ticket for a Round Trip / Economy Class to and from your country for residence
• ​You will receive accommodation for the period of the internship
• You will participate in seminars and business meetings
• Recipients of this support package will receive Translation support during meetings
• You will be provided with breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided throughout the program

The Silver Support Package:

• You will benefit from a 4 nights accommodation
• ​Participants will receive Breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided throughout the program
• You will benefits from translation support during meetings
• Applicants will participate in seminars and business meetings

The Bronze Support Package:

• Lunch and dinner provided throughout the program to selected participants
• You will participate in seminars and business meetings
• Translation support services during meetings
