DFL-UAntwerp Scholarships at University of Antwerp in Belgium

Apply for the DFL-UAntwerp Scholarships to study at the University of Antwerp in Belgium. These scholarships are dedicated to students from selected countries in the Middle East and are offered in collaboration with The Daughters for Life Foundation (DFL).

Applicants may apply to study for a Bachelors or master’s programme under this scholarship programme. The scholarship aims to empower students develop their potential to be a voice of equality, become leaders of development, change their communities and promote peace throughout the middle East.

To apply, you must be planning to apply for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at the University of Antwerp. Candidates must be female students from Palestine, Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq or Morocco.

Benefits


Accepted applicants will be eligible for the following benefits

  • The scholarship will support selected students cover tuition fees for their selected degree programmes.
  • Selected applicants will also receive monthly stipend to cover their daily living expenses
  • You will get full support for your accommodation for the whole duration of your selected degree programme
  • Costs related to travel from your home country to Belgium will also be covered

Eligibility


To apply, applicants for the programme must meet the following conditions

  • The scholarship is strictly dedicated to Female applicants
  • Applicants must be coming from one the following Middle East countries: Palestine, Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq or Morocco.
  • To be selected, you must an outstanding academic record
  • Applicants are those who face financial hardships who would otherwise not be able to peruse studies without a scholarship.
  • You must have a strong command of English since all programmes are offered in English.
  • Applicants must be applying to study for one of the following eligible courses:

Bachelor degree programmes

  • Social-Economic Sciences

Application


The application process involved two steps as described below. These steps can be completed simultaneously

Step 1:

Eligible candidates must apply for admission for one of the eligible courses mentioned above. You must read the admission requirements for your selected course and make sure that you meet the eligibility requirements.

Applications for admission at the University of Antwerp close January 23, 2026. Also remember to contact a DFL coordinator to inform them of your interest to apply for the scholarship and any extra details you may need to know. Contact of DFL coordinators can be found on the programme website.

Step 2:

At the same time, you must also complete the DFL scholarship application form and submit it before the deadline of January 23, 2026.

During the application, you will be asked to provide your UAntwerp admission number. You must instead provide the date you submitted your application for admission and your email address.
